Bolton Community Homes is Bolton’s strategic housing partnership. It is one of a number of partnerships which contribute to the Local Strategic Partnership for Bolton (known as the Bolton Vision Partnership).
Registered at Companies House and with a Board or 12 Directors, BCH represents a wide ranging cross sector partnership of the local authority, housing and regeneration service providers, service users and developers in the Bolton area.
Collectively, individual Company Members of BCH:-
Manage and maintain over 25,000 homes.
Provide support to numerous service users in supported and temporary housing.
Directly employ over 1300 people in the Bolton area.
Lead on the delivery of a wide range of regeneration initiatives.
Our vision is to enable the development and management of housing in Bolton in a way that helps to create sustainable communities and neighbourhoods that work. It will also provide a framework for service excellence and continuous improvement, recognising the value and importance of diversity, choice and opportunity for all.
In order to drive forward the Housing Strategy and BCH Delivery plan, a number of themed groups has been established which focus on priorities that can deliver real outcomes for individuals and communities. BCH partners take an active role in these themes which are:-

Urban Community and Neighbourhood Centre (Ucan) centres offer basic core services available most days such as free computers and internet access and have free phones for ringing benefits, job centre, bills etc. and also offer free photocopying.
